The Inner Mongolia Museum is a local historical center in the city of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, in north China. The first building, expressive of nearby minority qualities, is situated at the crossing point of Xinhua Street and Zhongshan Road in the core of Hohhot City, the capital of the independent locale. After 50 years, in 2007, a more current and 10 times greater present-day gallery was built around 5 kilometers toward the east, situated at the crossing point of Xinhua East Street and East Second Ring Road.

All the display objects were moved to the new building, while the first building still stayed open to open, for impermanent presentations, for example, a calligraphy show starting at 2014. The historical center specifically offers a knowledge into the history and customs of the Mongolian individuals showing stuff utilized by itinerant Mongols, including saddles, ensembles, bows and arrows and polo gear and a ger a compact tent utilized by Central Asian travelers.

One of the imperative wellsprings of its accumulations are valuable materials exhumed from the earth because of archeological research.
