About Silver Pagoda
Inside the Royal Palace compound is the unrestrained Silver Pagoda, also called as Wat Preah Keo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It is so named for its floor, which is secured with five tons of shining silver. You can sneak a look at a portion of the 5000 tiles close to the passageway, yet most are secured to ensure them.
The staircase prompting the Silver Pagoda is made of Italian marble. Equaling the silver floor is the Emerald Buddha, an exceptional Baccarat-crystal sculpture sitting on an amazing overlaid platform. Adding to the lavish mix is an existence measured strong gold Buddha enhanced with 2086 diamonds, the biggest tipping the scales at 25 carats.
