Ponta Verde

Ponta Verde is a beach in the state of Maceio, the capital of the state of Algos, Brazil. One end of the land which emerges from the sea and is covered with green date palms. This is the event that gave its name to one of the most frequent beaches in Maceio. In the past, it was located on one of the most famous symbols of the city "The Riya Neek", a palm tree whose trunk was like a reed neck. It was located near the current Yacht Club Alagas Clube Algornha. The rocks form a natural pool and it is very common, during low tide, to see the visitors bathing in these pools, especially near the lighting pillar.

There are live stands with live music, bars, restaurants, snack bars and hotels. Ponta Verde Hotel and Pusadas hostel, a vibrant tourist coastal area with bars, nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, etc. Tourism is the most important part of the district, because Ponta Verde district has beautiful beaches with cool and blue water, its walls and corals. Thanks to the modern buildings coming in front of the sea, Baracas the traditional restaurant / bar on the beach's sand, which are close to the sea water and are similar to the vast Amazonon-Indian straw huts.
