Healing In The Osho Ashrams Of India

The modern life is moving fast and at times we tend to write off our old ways in every aspect of life. Along with the incentives of a pacy world, unfortunately we are falling victim to several physical and emotional problems. Stress and depression is looming large to engulf the human race in its deep dense caves of no return. But, still, the timeless practices of ancient Indian yoga and meditation has found its way in this time also. The Osho International Centres located in India are the perfect specimen of that revolution.

The Osho ashrams are basically known for their sublime atmosphere and serene surroundings. Another associated aspect of these ashrams are the meditation training they offer in some of the most beautiful locations of India.

The first and foremost name that comes to mind while discussing Osho ashrams or Osho Commune in India is the one situated in Pune. Located in the soothing residential area of Koregaon Park of Pune, this centre is just fifteen minutes away from the Mumbai airport and a place established and nourished by Osho himself. This ashram is spread across a tropical oasis of a 27 acre campus. Along with the heavy dose of nature, you would pleasantly find the existence of some modern day amenities like marble pathways, elegant black buildings, swimming pools and lot more. It is a paradise to sooth a tired mind and a fatigued soul. While in this place, you can not ignore the meditation part that creates the essence of this commune. The day starts with it and during the different stages of the day, it is regularly exercised.

One of Osho's followers, Swami Brahma Vedant founded an ashram in accordance with the teachings and philosophy with his guru in a remote hamlet in Gujarat. All the Osho ashrams in India are related to the Pune Commune in one way or the other. This also has got some resemblance, but the essence remains same.

Move up to the hill state of Uttarakhand and you are at the Osho Om Bodhisatva Commune of Dehradun. Highly influenced by the traces of Buddhism, this centre also is a green abode and has a wide range of options in healing, meditation, yoga and well being of body and soul.

Considering the fact that India is a huge country with countless travel attractions and natural/ cultural wonders, a relaxing outing proves to be very handy. And you can visit the Osho ashrams of India anytime.
