1. Bid for Navi Mumbai Airport Contract
The centre Government has an in-theory approval to the contractors in India and outside, for the approval of the financial bid system in order to pursue the RPF proposals. The contract is already running in delay state, which is approx INR 15000 crore contract to build the Navi Mumbai airport.
The meeting was held in New Delhi, in which senior authorities of the CIDCO attended in order to get the contract for the airport finally. After the Aviation Ministry of India gave the on paper approval for the RFPs, at the same moment four renowned bidders were shortlisted for the accomplishment of the project. Various global tenders were set for request for the qualification of the RFO on the February 5th, 2014.
In total nine bids were received in 2014 out of which four were finalized. The companies which are amongst the four shortlisted tenders are- GMR Group, The GVK- led MiaL, Hiranandani Developers, the Zurich Airport, Mia infrastructure incorporated with the Tat realty and the infrastructure.
Final call for the bidders, they have to submit their financial bids by the April in 2016. In coming 2 to 3 months developers will be finalized by the aviation ministry. The first flight is intended to take on n 2019 from the Navi Mumbai airport.
