Tread The Inca Trail

It will not be an exaggeration to say that many tourists from around the world come to Peru just to experience and walk the Inca trail. This is a 4 day trekking tour that starts at Ollantaytambo near Cuzco, and culminates at the world famous Machu Picchu. The hike to Machu Picchu is not an easy one, so it is advised that you get yourself prepared for a long, long walk up many steep slopes and awkward steps. But first views of Machu Picchu that you get at the end of the third day will be worth every extra breath you took during your trek to a height of 4200m. The path itself is full of scenic views which are a good distraction from all the tiredness you might feel.
