Luminate Festival is a festival with a deeper significance as it tries to bring harmony and peace to the lives of the people. In the process the event becomes a blend of workshops and entertainment. The participants get a taste of a very different sort by being a part of it.
The Luminate Festival is a very much interesting celebration in the country of New Zealand. Organized by the Luminate Festival Educational and Spiritual Trust, this one is a community event and is definitely a family friendly celebration. The major objective of this event is to raise awareness about the environmentally sustainable initiatives and help the people in living a life in fine spiritual, mental and physical health.
The ways and means provided by the Luminate Festival to attain these goals are pretty much earthly but immensely effective. You can easily find a dance floor open for some free style moves and can relax by the fire side sipping into your favourite beverage. Even you can enjoy a movie in the event site.
And if you are a musical soul, then just hit this celebration without any iota of skepticism. The music range is extended and diverse with genres like folk, gypsy, world grooves, minimal techno, psytrance, progressive, esoteric beats and lot more. Enjoy the rendition of these styles performed by some international, national and local artists.
Fun is not all about Luminate, there are space for interactive workshops where the focus is on knowledge sharing. The topics are myriad- Meditation, Harakeke, Permaculture, Yoga, Meditation, Reflexology, Poetry and Creativity techniques in various art forms. Be a part of one of these sessions and return illuminated!
Further, this fiesta has room for crafts & market stalls, healing zones, solar showers and camping. Take out time for some food hunt as you can locate lots of food joints selling organic food. All in all, it is a celebration of music, art, dance, creativity and sustainability.
