6 Days 5 Nights Chanderkhani, Malana and Manali Trip Package

Receiving at Rumsu base camp. Registration and orientation. Aclimitization walk to Naggar town, and then trek back to Rumsu base camp. The trek route from Naggar to Rumsu resort is very informative and interesting. The trek covers many famous places like “Gowrishankar temple” 11th century old shiva temple, Tripura sundari temple, Naggar castle and Roerich art gallery. Naggar\'s glory is reflected in many famous temples in the vicinity of Castle Fort. This old castle is a marvelous medieval building. A further walk lead us to Tripura Sundari temple which is a beautiful example of Pahadi style Temples . Later on one could also see Roerich Art Gallery on their way. Orientation regarding the trek will be given by the chief organizer in the evening. The orientation will cover information like ruck sack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about the trek route. Overnight stay at Rumsu.

After breakfast all the trekkers will start their trek to the Ghankulhadi camp site. The forest is full of pine, fir, oaks, chestnuts trees. The trek involves moderate ascend and will take around 3 to 4 hours. Ghankulhadi camp site offers amazing view of the Manali valley. Overnight stay in tents at Chaklani camp site.

After morning breakfast we will start the trek to Chaklani camp site. Chaklani campsite is at 3,450 mtrs. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach to the camp site. The first part pof the trek has a moderate ascend but later it becomes easy.height.One can find many peaks like Ali Ratna, Friendship peak, Deo Tibba , Hanuman Tibba , Tiger Teeth and others. Overnight stay in tents at Chaklani camp site.

We will start the day early in the morning by 6 AM. It takes around 3 hours to reach to the top of Chandrakhani Pass from Chakhlani Camp Site. It will be easier to cover this part in the morning before the sun becomes too strong to make the snow hard. Packed lunch at Chandrakhani top. We will then descend for Nagroni camp site. The route from here is a descend and will take around 3 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Nagroni camp site.

The trek to Malana from Nagroni takes around 4 to 5 hours. The trek route has a moderate ascend all the way. Trekkers will find a small village name Dudhon on the way to Malana. The villagers are Malani people who have settled here for cultivation. Malana is a unique village with its own unique culture. Its claimed to be the oldest democracy and the local believe that they are the descendants of Alexandar. The village has its own law book and rules. Care should be taken that you don\'t touch them as its against their culture. Overnight stay in tents at Malana base camp.

After morning breakfast all the trekkers will trek to Malana Dam. Jeep Ride from Malana to Rumsu base camp. Departure from Rumsu base camp by 4 PM.
