About Reflection of Mutual Affection and Respect in Pokhara, Nepal

World Peace Pagoda is an outcome of World War II. It is primarily a Buddhist stupa erected by ex- Buddhist monk, Nipponzan Fujii from Japan, who was really crushed after seeing lots of killing of mankind throughout the war. Located on the southern shore of Phewa lake, it is extremely conspicuous, and primarily emphasizes on bringing people of all cast, creed and religion together to form world peace. Further, its construction can be considered as a positive step to discourage the expanse of violence taken by the monk who was a chief supporter of non-violent teachings given by Mahatma Gandhi. However, by crossing the lake with the help of boat and then hiking up the hill you can access the place to take view of sensational Annapurna range and the Pokhara city. The World Peace Pagoas are a major representations of peace. Its architecture talks about four incidents four statues related to Buddhas life. The first Peace Pagodas were developed as a reminiscent of the disastrous effects of world war II in the remarkable Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. More to the point, one cannot forget the words of wisdom ever spoken by the Most Venerable Nichidatsu Fuji that civilization is only born to promote mutual love and harmony, not to kill innocent humans. Consequently, around 80 Peace Pagodas had already been formed in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Therefore, the place is worth-considering during your trip to Nepal as enchanting lakes, panoramic Himalayan views, trekking and rafting destinations, etc. are awaiting to take you to a world never seen before.
