Rupa Lake

Rupa Lake or Rupa Tal is a freshwater lake in Nepal positioned inside the Pokhara-Lekhnath metropolitan municipality.It is the 0.33 biggest lake in Pokhara valley of Nepal and at an altitude of six hundred m covering place approximately 1.35 km2 with an average water depth 3 m and maximum depth 6 m. The lake is elongated north to south and is fed by means of perennial streams. Its watershed area is 30 km², in which The essential inflow of water is from Talbesi move, whereas Dhovan khola is the feeder flow with its outlet Tal khola at Sistani ghat. It supports some of floral and faunal species.
