Utowana Lake

Utowana Lakeis well known among locals and visitors, it is a lake in the Eckford Chain, Adirondacks, and NY. It is associated with Eagle Lake and Blue Mountain Lake toward the East and the Marion River/Raquette Lake toward the West. It was claimed by enterprise essayist Ned Buntline in 1867 and by William West Durant in 1888 preceding being obtained by mining head honchos Berthold Hochschild in 1904.
