About Reeves-Reed Arboretum

The Reeves-Reed Arboretum is a garden situated in Summit, Union County, United States. The arboretum grounds are open day by day from day break till sunset, for nothing out of pocket. The property was initially crossed by Lenni Lenape Native Americans on their course from the drift close Elizabeth to the good countries close to Schooley's Mountain. Amid the American Revolutionary War, it was cultivated, and was nearby the site of the Old Sow gun and the flag reference point on Beacon Hill on the Second Watchung Mountain. The gardens are a wonderfully kept up case of mid twentieth century scene design, otherwise called the Country Place Movement. Italianate in character, the garden design is symmetrical and hub, making formal garden rooms off a primary pivot from the house.
