Lakes National Recreation Area

The territory was assigned a national amusement region by President John F. Kennedy in 1963. The entertainment region was initially overseen by the Tennessee Valley Authority however locale has since been exchanged to the United States Forest Service. It was assigned as an UNESCO Biosphere hold in 1991, yet was pulled back from the program as of June 14, 2017.The Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers stream near each other in the northwestern corner of Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky, isolated by a fairly limited and for the most part low edge.
