Lake Saltonstall

Lake Saltonstall is a long tight lake situated in south-focal Connecticut. It covers a territory of around 0.66 square miles 1.7 km2 and is settled in the focal point of the trap shake Saltonstall Mountain. The lake is encompassed by timberland and fills in as a feature of the nearby water supply for encompassing towns. The lake and the zone around it is possessed by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority, an organization which additionally directs angling and leases pontoons.

Private vessels are not permitted. Interstate 95 keeps running over the southern edge of the lake, interfacing the towns of East Haven, Connecticut and Branford, Connecticut. Lake Saltonstall's most extreme profundity does not surpass 113 feet 34 m and its mean profundity is 41 feet 12 m.
