Oklahoma cowhand Ken Lance transformed a watermelon fix into an exhibit rodeo field, bringing champions out of the chutes and Nashville stars in front of an audience. They said it couldn't be done.When Oklahoma trap roper Ken Lance wedded Ruth Whitlock, he knew he had discovered the lady who might share his rodeo cowpoke dream.

From the soil poor days of the rodeo cattle rustler in the 1960's to the mogul cowhands of the 1980's and 1990's; Ken and Ruth attempted to deliver an expert rodeo at a value that normal people could manage.Together, with their fathers, they four joined their resources to assemble the Ken Lance Sports Arena and reestablished the yearly Ada rodeo to it's pre-World War II transcendence, as the second biggest open-air rodeo in the nation.
