Great Lakes Aquarium

Great Lakes Aquarium is situated on the Minnesota waterfront. It is one of a handful couple of freshwater aquariums in the United States. The aquarium highlights creatures which live in the Great Lakes district and other freshwater biological communities around the globe.

205 distinct species can be seen at the aquarium, including fish, feathered creatures, reptiles, creatures of land and water and warm blooded creatures. The principle show is the 85,000 gallon "Isle Royale" which reaches out through the two stories and can be seen from a wide range of edges. There are a few other perpetual displays also an assortment of pivoting shows.
