About Clear Creek
It is a tributary of the South Platte River, about 106 km long, in north central Colorado Co in the USA. The stream travels through Clear Creek Canyon in the Rocky Mountains particularly west of Denver, sneaking past a long chasm to create on the Colorado Eastern Plains where it joins the South Platte. Clear Creek is uncommon in that it is a stream named "brook" bolstered by a stream named "waterway".
Fall River purges into Clear Creek along I-70 west of Idaho Springs, Colorado.The rivulet is renowned as the area of the most extreme early mining action amid the Colorado Gold Rush of 1859. Mountain man Jim Baker had a lodge on the brook from 1873 until his demise in 1898. The rivulet gave the course of the Colorado Central Railroad.
