Birkenhead Park is a noteworthy open park situated in the focal point of Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. It was structured by Joseph Paxton and opened on 5 April 1847. It is by and large recognized as the first freely financed municipal park in the world. The park was assigned a protection zone in 1977 and pronounced a Grade I recorded scene by English Heritage in 1995.
