Singapore’s Tigerair expanded its operations by launching flights to Lucknow from 3 December and the same will be operated thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The aircraft Airbus A320 can accommodate 180 passengers and will be the first direct flight to Singapore from Lucknow.
CEO of Tigerair Mr Lee Lik Hsin said that the company is looking to cater to new destinations which will increase more options of travel for the customers. Rich historical and religious background of Lucknow makes it an ideal choice and the travelers can connect to the nearby states easily. He further hoped that this would bring more visitors to Singapore from Uttar Pradesh who can also travel to Southeast Asia as well as Australia from Singapore.
Tigerair is already operating in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Tiruchirapalli, Hyderabad and Kochi.
