About Luban
Luban is a town within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in southwest Poland. It is the executive seat of Luban County and additionally of the smaller Gmina Luban even though it isn't always part of the territory of the latter, because the metropolis is a separate urban gmina in its very own proper. Luban in all likelihood is at the site of a small settlement established by means of the West Slavic Milceni tribe inside the 9th and 10th century, whose lands up to the Kwisa River from 927 on had been progressively conquered through the German king Henry the Fowler and integrated into the marca Geronis in 939. In 965 the unwell defined Milceni territory has become part of the Imperial Margraviate of Meissen.
