About Fort Pilar
The Fort Pilar Museum in Zamboanga City was started and built up through the deliberate endeavors of the Department of Tourism, the Department of Public Highways, the City Government of Zamboanga and the National Museum. This exhibition hall is arranged inside the memorable bastions of Fort Pilar and is named after the benefactor holy person of the city, the Nuestra Senora del Pilar.
