Founded in 2013, Nature Trails is a local tour operator that offers mostly nature experiences in Uganda and Rwanda. Our core activities are hiking, birding, and primate experiences including Mountain Gorilla treks, Chimpanzee and Golden Monkey tracking. In addition we offer big game safaris and outdoor activities including biking, rafting nature walks, kayaking and other water sports activities.
We organize mostly private tours where the travelers do not share car with any other person unfamiliar to them other than the tour driver. We also have capacity to handle groups of up to 20 travelers from tour agents abroad.
The Largest composition of our management team are former professional guides and employees with other big companies within the region. This offers Nature Trails East Africa a firm foundation and the credibility to offer quality services.
Our cars are proper customized safari vehicles with popup roofs for game viewing, 4X4 and have functioning air conditioning. They maintained in the best mechanical condition all the time.
For accommodation that we use, we take into account their eco credentials, level of hospitality and obviously comfort! We have visited and experienced every accommodation that we use for our tours. We also rely on travelers feedback about every accommodation to ensure we always consider the best facilities for our tours.
Our tours are normally divided into budget, mid-range and luxury to cater for the affordability of every traveler. Mostly it is the level of accommodation that changes for each type of tour.
