Pardesiya

Pardesiya is a town within the Central District of Israel. Located at the Sharon plain, between Kfar Yona and the Lev HaSharon Regional Council, it was founded among 1937 and 1939. In 2017 it had a populace of 5,828 its jurisdiction is 1,273 dunams. The lands of Pardesiya had been purchased in 1928 by using Jean-Yona Fisher, but remained unused. In 1937 Avraham Tabib of the Yemenite olim organization requested its members to come back to the land to build a village, promising reasonably-priced land. Twenty families came and in 1939 completed the development.

During World War II, the villagers found themselves unemployed and not able to pay taxes for their housing. The citizens controlled to settle the problem with the Jewish Agency for Israel and persevered dwelling in the village. After the warfare, a brand new community turned into built, as well as a ma'abara to absorb new immigrants. Pardesiya gained nearby council status in 1952. Pardesiya is positioned on the Sharon simple, bordering Kfar Yona on the east and Tzur Moshe of the Lev HaSharon Regional Council.
