About Phalut

Phalut or Falut is the second highest peak of West Bengal. The place is located at the border of West Bengal and Sikkim and Nepal. The place is surrounded by primitive tribe which is commonly known as Falutians who used to worship the mountain peak for about three hundred years as they feel the presence of omniscient in the peak.

The place is composed with dense forest with majestic nature view with rhododendron tress and colorful flowers during April to May. The place thrives with Oaks, Chestnut, Magnolias and Silver, Firs forests.
