Tata Castle

Tata Castle, worked toward the finish of the 1300s at the Shore of Old Lake, is one of the gems of Tata.

Its sprouting can be dated to the rule of Zsigmond Luxemburg and Matyas Hunyadi as the midyear resort of the ruler.

The dividers of the stronghold mirror the signs of sentimental style which is expected to the Esterhazy family used to live here.

One of Tata's diamonds today, it had its wonderfulness days as an imperial summer home amid the rule of King Sigismund of Luxembourg and that of King Matthias Hunyadi.

On account of the Esterhazy family, one-time inhabitants of the stronghold, the building today mirrors the stylistical highlights of the sentimental period.

The Domokos Kuny Museum has been working in the stronghold working since 1954. Notwithstanding the accumulation of the Piarist Tata-Toos Museum established in 1912, it houses for the most part Bronze and Roman Age archeological finds together with shows identified with characteristic history, neighborhood history, improving and connected workmanship and in addition home and universal ethnography, including fine items from Tata's faience produce.
