Vlotho

Vlotho is a town within the district of Herford, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The first historic information of Vlotho go back to the 12 months 1185. In 1248, Vlotho received the official fame of a metropolis, but lost it once more due to each pestilence and conflict. In 1875, Vlotho station changed into built, and in 1928, a bridge changed the ferry across the Weser river. In 1969, the antique city of Vlotho was unified with the communities of Exter and Valdorf. In 1973, Uffeln joined Vlotho.
