Museum of Antiquities of Leipzig University

Museum of Antiquities of the University of Leipzig is an accumulation of collectibles in Leipzig, Germany.

The establishments of the gathering were laid in the primary portion of the eighteenth century, with the main acquisitions of collectibles by the University.

In the mid nineteenth century the collectibles accumulation obtained the title "Prehistoric studies and Art Cabinet". While the accentuation of the accumulation was initially on classical coins, diamonds and mortar throws, this changed with the entry of 50 Greek and Etruscan vases in Leipzig, cordiality of Eduard Gerhard.

Today the gathering contains around 10,000 unique items, boss among them ious dark and red-figure vases, and in addition more than 600 mortar throws.
