Bergneustadt

Bergneustadt is a district metropolis within the Bergisches Land approximately 50 kilometers east of Cologne. It belongs to the Oberbergischer Kreis inside the North Rhine Westphalian district of Cologne and the Rhineland Regional Council. In 1301, the vicinity turned into first referred to in a document. The file reads The Marchian Droger Rutger von Altena begins with the development of the Niestat. It must be a Brandenburg outpost against the Cologne archbishop. The new Veste became quickly granted the equal rights as Ludenscheid. The spelling of the first appointment changed into Niestat.
