About Bad Friedrichshall
Bad Friedrichshall is a metropolis in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Wurttemberg in southern Germany. It is situated on the confluence of the Jagst and the Kocher into the Neckar, 10 kilometres north of Heilbronn. Bad Friedrichshall arose via the connection of Kochendorf and Jagstfeld in 1933, and is well-known for its salt-mine. Bad Friedrichshall arose in 1933 by way of the aggregate of Kochendorf and Jagstfeld. Its name Friedrichshall is derived from the term Bad for a brine and salt-works in Jagstfeld, named after Frederick I of Württemberg in 1818.
