About Saint Martin dHeres
Saint-Martin-d'Heres is a collective in the Isere office in southeastern France. It is the biggest suburb of the city of Grenoble and is contiguous it on the east. The collective was made around 1100 where the congregation of St. Martin was found. Amid the medieval times it was managed at certain focuses by the masters of the Castle of Gieres, and at different occasions by the priest of Grenoble, who had religious and seigniorial debate with the previous. The city remained a generally rustic region, until the nineteenth century.
When it saw its first mechanical advancements with the opening of streets and railroads. During the 1950s and the 1960s the city saw another time with a critical statistic development brought about by the establishment of the University of Grenoble. The city is constrained at the north by the Isere. It is situated in a territory generally inclined to flooding by it and by the Mogne and Sonnant streams, however the floods halted since the development of dykes and the channelization of the Mogne and Sonnant streams.
