About Wangala Festival in Meghalaya

 

Wangala is a publish-harvest festival of thanksgiving celebrated in Meghalaya after the finishing touch of all agricultural activities. Wangala is a harvest pageant which is well known throughout iciness here. One of the speciality of this competition is the usage of one hundred drums, which additionally offers the festival the name '100 Drums Festival'.
