Death Anniversary of the Hung Kings
About Death Anniversary of the Hung Kings
The Hung Kings' Temple Festival is held every year from the eighth to the eleventh long stretches of the third lunar month out of appreciation for the Hung Kings and their part in molding the country. The official name of the celebration is 'Passing Anniversary of the Hung Kings'. Anyway the date does not stamp the demise of a particular Hung King yet respects their commitment to Vietnam as the customary originators of the country and the primary rulers.
The primary Hung lord was Kinh Duong Vuong, who came to control in 2879 BC. He led a region covering what is presently North Vietnam and part of southern China. The zone was called Van Lang and is viewed as the primary country of the Vietnamese individuals. Duong Vuong established the Hong Bang Dynasty, whose relatives ruled Vietnam until 258 BC. Every year contributions are held all the while at more than 1,400 Hung Kings sanctuaries crosswise over Vietnam.
The key service happens at the Hung Temple on Nghia Linh Mountain in Phu Tho Province, about 85km northwest of Hanoi. More than five million guests will go to the region to see the celebrations. A parade begins at the foot of the mountain and stops at each sanctuary on the climb before explorers offer petitions and incense to the Hung Kings when they achieve the Hung Temple.
