About Caragan Festival

Caragan Festival is praised out of appreciation for Haring Caragan, an Aeta chieftain, who established Pampanga's freshest city, wowed a large number of inhabitants and visitors during the peak of the four-day occasion here last week. Tens of thousands of people trooped to the most fabulous reasonable in Central Luzon as the Caragan Festival here wowed the group with expand outfits, hoods and exhibitions.

Aeta chieftain wedded a Mabalaquena, evidence of Mabalacat's Aeta heritage. The street dance celebration is held each and every Friday of February. The Caragan Festival put Malabacat City, Pampanga in the guide of Philippine Tourism is a celebration named after the main chieftain of Mabalacat called "Garagan". Feature of the occasion is the festival of the customary Aeta Culture.

The festival highlight road moves amid the parade – a merry mardi gras that portrays the rich social legacy of the general population of Mabalacat especially the Aetas, being one of the first occupants of the region. Highlight of the event is the celebration of the traditional Aeta culture. The Aetas are well known for their dances as part of their celebration of their struggles and triumphs.
