About Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival

The Amish Acres Arts and Crafts Festival, held the first weekend in August in Nappanee, Indiana,  celebrates its 46th year in 2008. It highlights 350 specialists and skilled workers in a commercial center encompassing the ranch's lake. Four entire long periods of excitement on four phases, melodic theater, guided visits, wagon rides, and well known honors feature the occasion. The celebration is one of the American Bus Association's Top 100 Events in North America in 2003, 2006, in addition to 2008 and the seventh Best Traditional Crafts Festival in the United States as per Sunshine Artist magazine.

The festival started in 1962 before the Pletcher Furniture Village in downtown Nappanee as a feature of a walkway days festivity. Watercolors painted by nearby understudies in the recreation center division's mid year expressions program were held tight clotheslines between the pilars of the store.
