Spending the night in Naivasha, you have the opportunity to witness the myriad of bird life coming alive in the morning at the Lake. After breakfast, drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve which is an enormous reserve which is a part of the vast Serengeti plains known for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It is the home of the Big Five; the Lion, the Elephant, the Leopard, the Buffalo and the Rhino. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the largest wildernesses present in the world with diverse large mammals roaming about freely. Among the Residents of the Parks are the Maasai Giraffe, Eland, Buffalo, Impala, Topi, Zebra, as well as both Thomson’s and Grant/’s Gazelles.
