My parents decided to take their grandchildren (my daughter, son and niece) on a vacation overseas. They did inform me and asked me to lookout for good destinations. I being a traveler, into wildlife and love trekking had many adventurous options but had to restrict the same keeping parents age in mind. My family showed keen interest on developing countries with lots of heritage and culture. As I am subscribed to some of the travel sites and keep getting travel/package details, out of curiosity I clicked on a mailer from Hello Travel, and it is here where it all began in April 2014. Hello Travel immediately connected me to 3 travel agents and the first to connect was Ms. Swati Almal from Makemytrip.com. Swati based out of Makemytrip.com?s Kolkata office was very friendly, called to enquiry about our vacation plans and in 2 telecons zeroed down to Southasian countries i.e. Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Swati was proactive in sending the package details for the SouthAsian countries. As we reviewed, we looked back into the objective of the vacation which to have a family vacation after troubled times, relax, rejuvenate and rebond with kids on loss of their mother. As I explained the scenario to Swati, she turned around from the traditional standard vacation packages and planned a great itinerary, privatized the vacation in Malaysia with lots of leisure time for ourselves. As we confirmed the itinerary meeting our needs Swati took care of the Air travel, accommodation and local transportation. The whole experience of being in Southeast Asia for the first time was simple great and awesome. The most memorable, exciting part of our holidays was the 1 day unplanned, surprise trip to Melaka and we enjoyed every moment of its countryside, heritage, people and food. Similarly we wanted to hit the road to Penang, unfortunately with time constraints we cancelled the trip. Definitely a memorable family holiday my parents, sister and teenagers will remember forever. It really opened their eyes to different cultures. We loved it, will definitely return to Malaysia again soon for a longer stay as there is lots to see in the other provinces as well. Malaysia is the friendliest, cosmopolitan city we have come across in Asia. Malaysian food is probably the tastiest and best value food you can find. The hotel chosen for us by Makemytrip.com was IBIS Business Fraser in KL was excellent in all its services and made our stay a memorable one. Big Tree Adventure Tours was very diligent in meeting schedules, their drivers Mr. Patrick & Mr. Joe were very friendly, flexible, wonderful guide and reliable. The itinerary was arranged to suit us. Overall, Very well done. Our next holiday hopefully by end of the year, we plan hope to increase the holiday duration, add Singapore, Bali or Thailand to the itinerary. We would like to add wildlife, rainforest, beaches and snorkeling to our activity list. We'll use Makemytrip.com and Big Tree Adventure Tours as it was all so well organized, and the tour van drivers took all the stress out of traveling - Great job! I would recommend Makemytrip.com to any reasonably adventurous family.

It was wonderfull experience with Make My Trip. But Only the thing that Make My Trip provided a Hotel in Alappuzha was not Good.It was really bad experience with that Hotel (Lake Heaven Resort,Alappuzha).Rooms were not well maintained,so many Cockroaches,Lizards were there.Complimentry Breakfast was only 8 Nos.of Poories n little Bhaji,n Tea with stale Bread.Everything was worst.Rest whole Trip was memorable.
