Tanzania/’s third largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population, Tarangire is also known for its giant baobab trees that dwarf the animals feeding beneath them. See animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.

Go out on an early morning game drive in Serengeti to see nocturnal predators returning from their hunt. The word /’Serengeti/’ comes from the Maasai language in which it means an endless plain. You will get the chance to explore the endless plains of this national park today and see a variety of wild animals including elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs and hyenas plus, if you are lucky, carnivores like leopards and cheetahs.

Leave your accommodation with your lunch box after breakfast and drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful national park, with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, is known for its migratory flamingos as well as a large population of hippos.
