About Rocky Museum

The Rocky Museum showcases the history of the pioneers who homesteaded on this location, worked in the lumber camps and sawmills, and despatched their kids to 1-room school houses. Step into the past. Together with your own family. Listen to a tune played on our 1917 Amherst participant piano. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in their Pioneer Park. Their famous include the Meadows Forestry cabin, which is one hundred years vintage, and the Glacier School house. Have a seat in one of the school desks, and consider your self traveling back in time to the times while college students walked to school carrying lunch pails, and sat two to a seat on virtually bloodless days.
Inside the Rocky Museum, take a look at out the Killico General Store - no frozen pizzas sold there- and the Coles Brand boards. Take time to pay attention to a tune on our restored participant piano. Museum group of workers will fortunately reveal how it works. You can find out approximately Rocky Mountain House's history and consider the photos that show the damage caused to the village's Main street businesses by way of the cyclone tornado that hit here in July of 1927.
