Yusif ibn Kuseyir Mausoleum

The Mausoleum of Yusif ibn Kuseyir turned into constructed in 1161–1162, in Nakchivan town. Architect of the mausoleum became Ajami ibn Abubakr Nakhchivani. The mausoleums of Nakhichevan changed into nominated for List of World Heritage Sites, UNESCO in 1998 by Gulnara Mehmandarova president of Azerbaijan Committee of ICOMOS International Council on Monuments and Sites. This small octagonal building become made out of baked brick and finished with a pyramid shaped roof. There is a huge line with ligature written in kufi script from Quran on the top of the mausoleum. The western fringe of the mausoleum barely differs.

The pinnacle of the mausoleum is adorned with geometric embellishes, beneath that is placed a creation ligature. It shows the call of a buried individual and production date of the mausoleum. Internal space of the mausoleum is vaulted and divided into cells. Ajami ibn Abubakr Nakhchivani's name is written on higher facet of the primary part, in the left aspect of front.
