Caracas Aerial Tramway: A Ride Not To Be Missed

For more than half a century Caracas Aerial Tramway has been a major attraction for citizens as well as the tourists. Although it was closed from 1970s to year 2000, there had been many attempts to open it, looking at the tourist interest in it. Caracas Aerial Tramway covers a total distance 3.5 kilometers between Carcas city and Avila Hill. The bird's eye view of Carcas city is mesmerizing to say the least. More than 70 cabins are used for the transportation.
