Diu is a town in Diu district in the Union Territory of Daman and Diu, India. Diu district is the tenth least populated districts of India. So if someone wishes to have some peaceful and quiet time, then Diu is the perfect place to spend quality time.
This town is known for its fortress and Old Portuguese Cathedral. Visitors can enjoy fishing in this lovely town of course have some really great sea food. The climate of Diu district is extremely warm and humid with an average annual rainfall of 1500 mm. Visitors can also enjoy the beaches and water sports on this island. Streets of the town are clean and quiet. Another interesting fact Diu is that beer is free here.
