Air India Starts first ever flight between Ahmedabad to Newark

On the eve of Independence Day, The National air carrier – Air India has commenced its first Dreamliner service to the United States which will operate from Ahmedabad to Newark via London. Mr. Ashnwani Lohani – The Air India Chairman and Managing Director stated, “We are extremely happy to start this flight on August 15. This is the third international flight introduced by Air India and we are well-determined to expand this further soon for more international destinations”.

The Dreamliner flight (AI-171) flew off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 0500 hours. The flight will be available for three day a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at the same time and will reach London at 10:15 hours, from which it will further continue its journey at 12:30 hours and finally arrive at its destination Newark at 15:00 hours.
