Panama has numerous wonderful national parks in all corners of the country. They are are rich in flora and fauna but the variety does not even come close to the number of bird species that can be seen in the national parks of Panama. The national bird of Panama is Harpy Eagle which is mainly seen in Darien National Park. It is advised that you hire a guide who knows the local areas and bird population found in the area.
