About Dray Sap Waterfall

Situated on the Krong Ana River southwest of Buon Ma Thuot, the far reaching Dray Sap ('smoky falls' in Ede) cascade spouts amid the stormy season. From the ticket office, take the left fork for around 1km to achieve the falls. A guide and auto to come here, and the adjacent falls of Gia Long and Dray Nur, will cost around 750,000d.

This name is gotten from a legend of romantic tale between a kid and a young lady who lived here. Regular, H'Mi - name of the young lady - used to go to the milpa with her darling. Multi day, while laying on a level stone, they saw a beast, whose head was as large as a mountain, eyes like bronze urns. Its body was glittery with gleaming scales. All of a sudden, the creature jumped down from the sky and his trunk dove into the ground, blending up a goliath section of water.

The creature spread out its substantial wings, flew around a few times, making a savage rain then flied away. In unpleasant stun, the young lady vanished into the fog. The kid was changed into a major stump, whose roots stuck into the stone. This place was then called the Dray Sap, or Misty Waterfall.

The downpours rashly roll down and out of the blue stop. The daylight sifted through foliages, influencing the cascade to look more marvelous. This stream resembles a blend of water and mists. Nature has supplied Dray Sap Waterfall the tough excellence of mountain and timberland. The legend of the romantic tale adds more hues to this cascade.
