1. MOT to Develop Ramayan and Krishna Tourist Circuits
The Indian government is highly committed for improving the various tourist spots of the country. Recently, it has decided to develop the epic tourist destination like Ramayan and Krishna circuits. The Minister of Tourism & Culture of India has decided to develop Ramayana & Krishna Circuit for travelers and provide them the real pleasure of exploring these religious tourist spots of India. For the development of these tourist spots, it is expected that more than Rs. 300 crore would be required. Therefore, the approval of the project would add new destinations with best facilities of stay, dine and connectivity to travelers.
Under the development of Ramayana Circuit, 11 new destinations like Ayodhya, Nandigram, Shringhverpur & Chitrakoot (Uttar Pradesh), Sitamarhi, Buxar & Darbhanga (Bihar), Jagdalpur (Chattisgarh), Bhadrachalam (Telangana), Hampi (Karnataka), and Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu) along with Chitrakoot (Madhya Pradesh), Nashik & Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Mahendragiri (Odisha) would be developed. Under Krishna circuit 12 destinations like Dwarka (Gujarat); Nathdwara, Jaipur & Sikar (Rajasthan), Kurukshetra (Haryana), Mathura, Vrindavan, Gokul, Barsana, Nandgaon & Govardhan (Uttar Pradesh), Puri (Odisha) would be developed. Thus, these circuits are expected to be developed with international tourist standards and will enhance the travel experience of everyone.
