Castelldefels

Castelldefels is a municipality inside the Baix Llobregat comarca, in the province of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain, and part of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. Its populace is 65,954. It is positioned approximately 20 km southwest of Barcelona, just to the north of the massís del Garraf and is the closing town at the coast before the comarca of Garraf.

The city is famous for its long seaside, for being the location of residence of many well-known sportsmen, inclusive of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, or previously Ronaldinho; and for being the city which inspired the advent of the person "El Neng de Castefa" who used to seem on the past due night display known as "BFN" hosted by way of the showman and presenter Andreu Buenafuente. During the summer time, many people from Barcelona and the nation-state go to it. Nearby towns consist of Gava, Viladecans, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Sitges and el Prat de Llobregat. Castelldefels borders the coast of the Mediterranean Sea between Sitges and Gava.
