About Lonehill Park
The hugeness of the Lonehill Nature Reserve is that it moderates three stone age heaters, worked around 1600 that were exhumed in the 1960s and afterward secured to ensure them.
Lonehill is an essential Stone Age site.
Close to the heater site the first exhuming revealed another site close-by where stoneware was clearly made.
Both have been shut off as there was no further subsidizing to build up the site, after they were found.
The revelation called a stop to the quarry where the legislature was mining stone shake around the base of the Koppie, and you will see an enormous hill of square rock shut there on the off chance .
