About Tlayacapan
Tlayacapan is a town and a region situated in the upper east piece of Morelos state in focal Mexico. It is found 60 km east from the state capital of Cuernavaca and about 1.5 hours south of Mexico City. It is a country region, whose lifestyle has not changed a lot over the 20th century, with 90% of its population still in part or completely subject to agribusiness. The town has old manors, houses with red tile rooftops and lanes cleared with stones. Numerous gorges mismatch the territory and are crossed by various stone extensions.
The fundamental milestone is the previous religious community of San Juan Bautista, which towers over the various structures. It was constructed starting the 1530s, alongside 26 houses of prayer dispersed around the first town as a major aspect of the "profound triumph" of the zone. Today, this cloister is a piece of the Monasteries on the inclines of Popocatepetl, which was made a World Heritage Site in 1994. Socially, the town is celebrated for two things: being the starting point of the Chinelos move and the home of the Banda Tlayacapan band, the most significant socially in the state and broadly perceived.
