Sultanpur

Sultanpur is a city and a municipal board in Sultanpur District in the Indian province of Uttar Pradesh. Situated on the correct banks of the Gomti waterway a noteworthy tributary of the Himalayan Ganga River. Sultanpur is the regulatory central station of Sultanpur District and is a piece of Faizabad Division. It is arranged 135 kilometers east of state capital Lucknow. Total territory involved by Sultanpur is 4436 sq. km.
