Clement Town

Clement Town is a town of Dehradun locale in the province of Uttarakhand, India. It outskirts Rajaji National Park and is home to a few eminent establishments. Schools, for example, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy and St. Mary's are in the area. Nation artist Bobby Cash lives in Clement Town. The atmosphere is like Dehradun. After the foundation of Indian Military Academy at Dehradun in 1932, the Joint Services Wing was set up here on 15 December 1948, under the initiative of Colonel Kamta Prasad, which was renamed as National Defense Academy on 1 January 1950, however in December 1954, the NDA was moved to Khadakwasla close Poona.

Enlivened by the fourteenth Dalai Lama's TCV, The Tibetan Children's Home was built up in Dhondupling Tibetan Colony, Clement Town, Dehra Dun, India on 18 March 1991. TCH was initially financed by the eleven-part Board of Directors, at that point was purchased out by Mr. Sonam Singhe in 2004. This is a not-revenue driven life experience school, that guides Tibetan youngsters to get the training they require. TCH gives nourishment, protect, mentoring and transportation for the youngsters living under destitution.

Those that can't stand to pay for these costs are given gifts and gifts from philanthropies, for example, Parimita Charitable Trust, the Tibetan Homes Foundation, the Tibetan Children's Fund, the Chenrezig Fund, the Social Justice Fund of the First Unitarian Society of Madison, and Lake Side Church. In 1992, the fourteenth Dalai Lama visited TCH and gave it his approval and support. He commended the activity for the work that has been done and given TCH a prominent blessing to help build up the offices.
